Nicholas is a University of Minnesota graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a special focus on Biomechanics. Nick’s knowledge of fitness and training stem from a highly diverse background of physical activity. A self-proclaimed “bucket-list” guy, Nick has cycled across the United States, run ultra-trail marathons in the Italian Alps and snowboarded a majority of the iconic mountains in the U.S., Canada and Western Europe.
Most recently, he served as an Infantryman with the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, deploying to both Afghanistan and Lithuania. Due to the extreme nature of Nick’s activities, he is no stranger to injury. It is those injuries that fuel his ambitions of being a physical therapist. Nick is passionate about restorative movement and mobility. While Nick has always used fitness as a mechanism for extracting the most from life, he believes that mobility and stability are essential for long-term health and wellness. Above all, Nick believes that fitness should be fun. His training sessions are creative and diverse, exposing the client to a number of different modalities. The goal is to identify something that clicks, and then fold in movements that address specific weaknesses and or limitations.
