CLASS: Vinyasa Yoga
BACKGROUND: Jen found her way to her mat in the spring of 2010 as a way to calm her mind and strengthen her body. After just one class she was amazed at how great she felt and was “hooked”. It did not take long for her to discover that Yoga is a practice for her mind, body and spirit. It is an opportunity to reboot, clear her mind (if only for one hour), concentrate on herself and a chance to challenge and strengthen her body. She has found her yoga practice has made her a better mom, a better wife, a better listener and a better person. In the fall of 2014 she received her certification in Power Yoga from CorePower Yoga. Her teacher training allowed her to not only deepen her own practice, but also to share her love of Yoga with others and guide them thru their own practice.
INTERESTS: Off her mat, Jen enjoys spending time with her family including cooking and baking with her husband and daughter, playing in her garden, strolling thru the St. Paul Farmer’s Market and cheering on the Gophers Men’s Hockey Team!
