BACKGROUND: Has been practicing yoga for over 15 years. Her passion for yoga and travel led her to India where she studied yoga, meditation, chanting, and philosophy at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram. She received her 230 RYT through the Yoga Center of Minneapolis and is registered with Yoga Alliance.
Her teaching emphasizes uniting alignment and breath in a practice that focuses on increasing awareness, strength, and flexibility. She encourages you to engage your physical and mental edges mindfully and safely, empowering you to develop and refine your own personal practice. As a cyclist and runner, she understands the importance of conditioning the body along with the quieting of the mind: the balance of precision with introspection and bliss.
She also teaches yoga in corporate settings, yoga studios and fitness centers. She splits her time teaching with recording voice-overs, commercial work, and international travel.
She is grateful to the many teachers who have influenced and guided her toward living authentically. She continues her education through workshops with Jonas Westring, Max Strom, Jason Crandell, and Sadie Nardini. She looks forward to sharing these practices with you.
